will feature a BMW chosen by Carey.
“Drew has spent the last 1,000 episodes infusing THE PRICE IS RIGHT with his

It appears that the show has been canceled; I never heard or saw an
official announcement, but the cast has been moving on to other things.
I guess ABC knew that if they made an announcement, we would fight for the
show, so they just let it slowly, quietly die away. What a shame!

Drew Carey is not on the fall schedule this season but might return as a

Please watch for it! I believe that the show is still good, but the network
moved it around so much and pre-empted it so often that people forgot about
it. It was on a lot this summer with lots of new episodes but who
watches TV in the summer...anyway, at least it has not been canceled.
Drew got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
The show has moved to Mondays! It's followed by Drew's other show, "Whose

moving it :(
Kate (Christa Miller) has left the show! :( She will only be seen
for a few episodes this season.
Joining the cast is Cynthia Watros ("Titus" and "Guiding Light").
Rumor has it that this is the final season of the show.
Drew will star on the 11/4 episode of "Nikki" on The WB, which
is also run by Drew Carey Show producer Bruce Helford. According to
Entertainment Weekly, "Carey will play a Vince McMahon-like character
who buys Dwight's professional wrestling league. 'He plays a bad guy
for the first time,' says Helford, who adds that Nikki will also
benefit from several new writers this season. 'Drew's way more
versatile than what we usually see. He's really different this
time--except he still has his glasses on'."
According to TV Guide,

Drew's 1st season theme was "Moon Over Parma" sung by Drew (my
favorite theme!) Last season's theme song was "5 O'Clock World" by The Vogues.
Ask for their CD Greatest Hits collection in your local record store. This season's theme
is "Cleveland Rocks" on by The Presidents of the United States of America (Ian

Carey on Fire for Smokers
WEST HOLLYWOOD (Reuters) - Drew Carey was an unlikely leader of a smoke-in yesterday at
Barney's Beanery, a popular West Hollywood hangout. The sitcom star and others lighted up
to protest of a state law that bans smoking in restaurants and bars. But Carey says he
isn't even a smoker and was taking part only because he believes the law is
"insane." The demonstration could be the beginning of a new activist career for
Carey. "I've never done anything like this in my life," he said. "But
protesting is fun and I may do it again -- if I don't get arrested." The protest
resulted in a $100 fine for Barney's.
Carey Likely to Host `Line'
HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - ABC is finalizing negotiations with Drew
Carey to host and executive produce a summer version of the British improv comedy game
show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" Carey's sitcom co-star Ryan Stiles will be a
regular player on the series. Celebrities compete in four improv games, and the host adds
and subtracts points for any reason he wants.

E! Online's Review From Last Fall: Not Such a Beautiful
Day in Drew's Neighborhood It's going to be a busy fall for Drew. First, he gets a new
housemate: Coworker Larry (Ian Gomez) moves in after getting fired. Then, he gets new
neighbors: a buppie couple (yet to be cast) who aren't thrilled about living in Drew's
blue-collar 'hood. They're even less enthusiastic when they meet the guy next door--just
as he gets cuffed in front of his house. Like, arrested? You got it. Unbeknownst to Drew,
Larry's holding a friend's marijuana stash, and Drew pays the price. Not only is he
arrested, but he's in danger of losing his house.
