Michael came out first and headed right towards the stage.  Roger came out and kind of just hung back.  When both were on the stage, Michael joked he was Roger's opening act.

A fan asked how they met their wives.  Roger lived in an apartment in the same building as a coffee shop where Cari worked.   Michael saw Ginevra coming down stairs.

Michael's daughter, Lilah Bell, makes him see the little things in life, like watching birds.

When a fan asked what role they like best, they joked the one they are paying us for.

Michael said it was sort of his idea to do the announcement (of his coming back to the show) in a grocery store.

They joked (I hope) that they weren't invited to GH Fan Club Weekend so they are having their own event.

Someone asked if there are any people they don't like working with, and Roger asked, "Do you like all your coworkers?"

Michael said Nathaniel Marston was gentle and he remembers him walking with no coat and a newsboy-type hat with the wind against his back.

Michael thought that when he left after Silas died that he was never coming back, so he gave Roger his fridge with 6 beers in it.  And that's why Roger hasn't given it back yet.

Roger didn't know Kristen (Alderson, ex-Kiki Jerome) was leaving until he got the script which was on a pink page (pink pages mean changes, blue mean major changes). He thought that was a nod to the "One Life to Live" fans  (Roger played Todd to Kristen's Starr, Todd's daughter, for many years on One Life to Live).

When someone asked if they can adlib, they said it's discouraged, because the cameras need to know where to be and other actors need to know what you are going to do.  If you want something, bring it up in rehearsals. Most of the time, it can't be changed, but sometimes they'll allow it.

Michael joked the bearded dragon has 8 handlers and has only been on set 2 days.  A person could be choking and no one would help, but 8 people would bring the dragon water.  (And apparently it's a male.)

Michael loves working with Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine) who he thinks used to work with Elvis. [She played Sister Barbara Bennett in the movie "Change of Habit."]

A fan asked if they watch the show, Roger not usually, because if he sees something he did that he didn't like, he'll try to not to do it. Michael said it's like a sausage factory, it's better not to see it being made or to see the end product.

When a fan asked if they went to see Hamilton, they said no, they couldn't get tickets.  Michael joked that Renee (Elise Goldsberry, Evangeline Williamson on One Life to Live now appears as Angelica Schuyler Church in the play "Hamilton") stopped returning his calls once she got on Broadway.  She talked to him when she was on ‘The Good Wife" but no, not when she's on Broadway.

Michael said he was told Finn knows Hayden's family.

Someone asked Michael if he named Finn's bearded dragon Roxy, he said no, it was the writers and it probably is a nod to "One Life to Live" (Roxy Balsom's character).

When Trevor St. John found out his character (on "One Life to Live") was actually Victor Lord, Jr., he would talk like Count Dracula.

A fan asked if Michael was going to be in The Nurses' Ball this year.  He said no, there are just some things he won't do.  Roger said he asked to be in it.

Michael said he managed to never say "I love you" on the show.

A fan said Roger is better than James Franco (the original actor to portray Franco).

Michael said he's lucky to work with all the women he has worked with.  He mentioned Melissa Archer's (Natalie Buchanan) web series.

Fans like the relationship Franco has with Jake.

A fan asked if Roger creates Franco's artwork, he said no.

Michael thanked the fans for all they did (petitions, writing into the studio, phone calls) to get him back on the show.  He said in the past "the powers that be" used to listen to fans and write-in campaigns, but now in the digital age, it's not listened to as much, so he really appreciated everything they did to get him back.

Soon it was time for the meet & greet.  I was lucky enough to be one of the first tables called.  Michael asked if I went to GH Fan Club Weekend, remembering me again.  I had him sign my Shutterfly book from last year as well as a picture I purchased at the event.  I had Roger sign my GH 50th Anniversary People Magazine as well as a picture I purchased at the event.  I had pictures taken with them individually and together.

Another soap event finished, waiting patiently for the next one!
