Our Opinion!

Questions & Comments by Michele & Cheryl

We know itís hard for the writers to come back from a giant reveal. It happens on every soap opera. The writers build up a big storyline and then the moment youíve been waiting for finally happens. They had to deal with the aftermath of Nicole being revealed as Kristen. It was a shock to the people of Salem.

The episode wasnít too bad considering what happened last week. Kristen went to the police station and ended up telling that Tony was the one who killed Ted. She needed to clear her own name and didnít worry about him. Wasnít that something considering she expected his help with her scheme? She had no problem throwing Tony under the bus just to get in good with Brady. Brady didnít hide the fact that he was mad with her, but she was willing to give him the entire store when he wanted her to say she did everything.

Brady must think so highly of himself. His ego could probably be the size of Salem. He kept expecting Kristen to confess to everything for him. He thought she would find him so irresistible and just tell everything. She made that easy by doing what he wanted. He told her that he didnít have feelings for her, but he used those feelings to get what he wanted. We would have loved to see her tell him that she wasnít falling for what he did.

Tony decided to confess to what he did to Ted. Itís good that he was willing to own up to what he did. He could have done that sooner and wouldnít have had to be with Kristen. Tony has done something evil things in the past even though they are acting like he didnít. Do the writers think that long time viewers would forget how he was in the past?

Speaking of Tony, why was everyone so surprised that he married his sister? They did the same thing last week. Kristen was with Tony when she was introduced to the show. They suddenly remembered that they were brother and sister. Tony and Kristen had a marriage in name only, but they were acting as if it were a conventional marriage.
